Get Work Now! Exploring the Route: Meeting the Unique Employment Needs of Your Customers

One of three ACRE approved National Certificate in Employment Services Classes, Exploring the Route brings essential knowledge and skills to you in your workplace and home community as you work on becoming a successful Employment Provider for people with disabilities.  So fasten those seat belts one more time for this valuable 5 week self-study course.

This is achieved through a five week self-study course that will take 3-4 hours per week. It is designed to complement your current employment and its requirements can be accomplished at your office and/or your home, as well as within the community. Exploring the Route is designed to follow Getting in Gear and Paving Your Way, however you can take the classes in any order that fits your schedule.

This course is designed to deliver valuable competencies to support you in serving job seekers that have complex support needs. Exploring the Route focuses on learning more about a business, developing the right job within that business, and providing the necessary training and supports to insure your job seeker’s success in the job. Key to this process is providing long term supports to encourage retention and advancement, and in the end, promote successful community integration.

This is one step in a series of three training programs to earn your National Certification in Employment. The individual classes that make up this certification can be taken in any order you choose and are identified as follows:
